At the International University of Andalusia, Director of “La Rábida” campus (2009-2010). At the University of Algarve (Portugal), member of its General Council (2010-2014) and Visiting Professor. Member of the Andalusian Academy of Regional Science since 2010. President of the Iberian Circle of Business Economics, CIBECEM (2005-2014) and head of the Spanish-Portuguese Network of Researchers in Tourism, REINTUR (2009-2014). International expert in Institutions for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education in Portugal and other countries. One of the Spanish tourism researchers in the “Ranking of the World Scientists: World’s Top 2% Scientists” published in 2022 by Stanford University.
