Frank Hugelmeyer is president and CEO of the National Marine Manufacturers Association, the leading North American trade group for recreational boating and the largest owner and producer of U.S. boat shows, including the world-renowned Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show.
Frank has more than 30 years of senior executive experience in the global sporting goods and outdoor recreation sectors. He’s worked as the chief executive at three of America’s most influential outdoor trade associations and as an executive for leading manufacturers and NYC’s oldest sporting goods retailer.
Prior to NMMA, He was president at RV Industry Association and Go RVing. And before that, he was the longtime president and CEO of Outdoor Industry Association where he led the campaign that defined the economic importance of America’s $862 billion outdoor recreation industry for the first time in the nation’s history.
As vice-chair of ICOMIA and board chair of the Outdoor Recreation Roundtable, a Washington D.C.-based coalition of America’s 45 leading outdoor recreation trade organizations, he’s at the forefront of the international and national advocacy efforts to promote and grow the outdoor recreation and marine economies.
In 2012, he was recognized by The White House as a Champion of Change in the area of corporate environmental leadership.
